With enhanced patient diagnosis, treatment and recovery times, the SSC offers in one location a rapid access facility for screening, diagnosis, rehabilitation, and surgical treatment of acute and chronic sports injuries.

Our dedicated team of medical specialists are experts in the science and medicine related to sports injuries, athletic performance and joint replacement. With our focus on rapid and positive patient outcomes, the SSC offers a same day service where test results are available within 24 hours.

Procedures and Facilities

Our facilities were built with optimised patient outcomes in mind. They include four ultra clean-air operating theatres, a world class diagnostic imaging department, an expansive physiotherapy department, a wellness and health screening facility, as well as dedicated research laboratories which highlight the real commitment that the SSC places on promoting future breakthroughs in orthopaedic surgery. We are able to offer you all the advantages of the newest technologies, including 21 on site consulting rooms that ensure rapid and smooth access to consultant expertise on a continuous basis.

The SSC houses some of the world’s most advanced radiology equipment including a 64 slice CT scanner and the 3Tesla GE MRI scanner which yields superior image quality and resolution, particularly in the diagnosis of soft tissue injury.

Patient comfort is at the heart of the service provided by the SSC. In total, the clinic will offer 67 in-patient beds in addition to 21 day case beds. Every room has its own en suite bathroom with shower. All patients have bedside entertainment centers with a 17’ flat screen TV which offers Internet access, radio and telephone access along with Sky sports etc and the latest choice of pay for view box office movies. These centers also contain both Clinic and treatment information.
